lifelessons
I recently had the opportunity to work on the development of lifelessons.de, an online shop and learning platform for therapeutic and counseling professionals. For this project we used Django, Wagtail, Django Oscar, and Mollie as a payment provider to build a powerful and user-friendly platform.
As the lead developer on the project, I was responsible for both the frontend and backend development of the platform. This included implementing custom solutions for the various payment types and discount options offered by the client, as well as building a content management system using Wagtail that made it easy for the client to update their video courses.

Being able to drop out of using the infrastructure of pre-maid shopping systems and having the chance to build exactly the platform that we wanted was the biggest boost for our business so far. Matthias is the perfect expert to guide you though it all. He gave us the freedom to think completely creatively and discover what we really needed, and provided the clarity and focus to translate all of that into reality. We are now able to focus on what we do best with a foundation that allows for our growth while reducing our work - for us that is magic.

In addition to my development work, I also played a key role as a technical consultant on the project. I worked closely with the client and the UI/UX designer to understand their business needs and to identify the best technical solutions. This included providing guidance on the best approaches for implementing new features and functionality, as well as collaborating with the design team to ensure that the final product was both visually appealing and easy to use.
My work on the lifelessons.de project allowed me to combine my skills as a developer and technical consultant to create a user-friendly and effective online shop and learning platform.
